Friday Blooms - Summer Time Show

My Pink Coneflowers

I had no idea that Mexican Hyssop would grow to such heights as mine has.

My Marigolds got a late start, but they're catching up.

Marigolds are happy flowers. I almost wrote "flours". I'm either sleep deprived or my cookbooks are calling me!! Could be a little of both :-)

Hi! Thanks for posting for me yesterday. I was opening up my dashboard and presto...there was your post. That was the coolest ever.

Love the echinacea...aren't they the best easy flower ever? They grow wild on my parent's farm, so they remind me a bit of home. Maybe I should dig some up next time I'm there...

I even have an extra pink one growing in my back if you want it! I'm glad you like the post. :)

I really like old English marigolds - they grow like weeds in some gardens. Usually slugs eat mine but we had a dry spell around Easter so I have an abundance of them, and lots of yellow and red nasturtiums this year, along with hollyhocks at my front door. Nothing like cheerful flowers to brighten a day. :-]
